It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of one of our own Lynx, Katelyn “Katie” Harding.
After a courageous two-year battle with osteosarcoma, Katie passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family. Though only 20 years old, Katie left a lasting impact on everyone she met — always smiling, always kind, and always giving her all, both on and off the ice.
Katie was not only an incredible ringette player, but also a cherished member of the Pierrefonds Ringette Association and the Lynx family. Her strength, spirit, and infectious laughter will never be forgotten by her teammates, coaches, and the entire community.
She now rests in peace, reunited with her beloved mother, Devorah Sorger — herself a passionate ringette player and role model. Katie’s memory lives on in the hearts of all who knew her, including her devoted sister Cassie, a fellow Lynx and ringette player, who carries on their shared love for the sport and each other.
We invite you to share your condolences and memories of Katie on the Instagram page she shared with Cassie: hardingsisters45.
Forever a Lynx. Forever in our hearts. ![]()
